PC Support Specialist – Resident Engineer
We are hiring an PC Support Specialist – Resident Engineer for a full-time, onsite role in Islamabad, Pakistan
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support to end users.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, MS Office, and other applications.
- Set up and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Perform network troubleshooting (LAN, IP configuration, DNS, DHCP).
- Ensure devices comply with security and antivirus policies.
- Maintain IT inventory and update support tickets regularly.
- Will be deputed at the client site in Islamabad as an RE (Resident Engineer).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware (RAM, SSD/HDD, PSU, motherboard, etc.)
- Experience with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of basic networking (LAN, WAN, IP, VPN)
- Knowledge of MS Office and common business applications
Soft Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service mindset
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
