Job description
We are looking for Network and Desktop support Engineer to help build out, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot software, hardware and networks.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Support of end-users for hardware or software issues.
- Responsible for the service desk for the following: Servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, security updates, and patches.
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Responsible for solving hardware and software issues.
- Responsible for maintaining the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization while adhering to network and system security standards.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Analyze and isolate hardware and software issues/errors by running diagnostics.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Monitor networks to ensure security, stability, and availability to specific users.
- Asset management and planning for IT hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting skills in Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook.
Location
We are looking for DevOps Presales Engineers in our Islamabad and Rawalpindi. You may apply if you are willing to work in any of the locations and have relevant work experience.
